Cleaning instructions:

1. Hand-wash with warm water. Many of our fabrics are treated with anti-absorbtion agents like DWR or polyurethane, meaning most stains don't go very deep. Most dirt can be easily removed using a damp washcloth. If water alone doesn't remove your stain and/or odor, try using a mild detergent (a very small bit of dish or laundry soap) or an outdoor-gear-specific cleaner like Nikwax. Afterwards, rinse with warm water. If the stain/order is still present after the first rinse, repeat the hand wash, and gently scrub it with a soft-bristled brush. Rinse and repeat as necessary.
2. Let the bag fully dry in a well-ventilated area. Drying time depends on how wet your bag is. Many of our bags contain protective and structural foam, which can absorb water (hence our point about not avoiding submersion). If any parts of your bag are soaked through with water, we recommend using an electric fan to speed up the drying process. Avoid storing the bag in damp or non-ventilated environments, as this can result in the formation of mildew.

Note: A washcloth or sponge should do the job. Abrasive scrubbers like Brillo or Scotch Brite may damage the fabric.

Note: Avoid submerging the bag in water and never put it through the washing machine. The high temperature and agitation can cause damage to the bag’s structure and the weatherproof coating.

Cleaning straps:

Wipe down your camera strap using a damp washcloth. If water alone doesn't do the job, try using a mild detergent as described in step 1 for washing bags. Take the same precautions as listed above.
